Charting the Future: Kameron Goetz
I write to you from South Korea after having visited Indonesia and Singapore on this two-week recruiting trip to Asia. It has been a pleasure meeting with ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ alumni who are serving God and succeeding in their careers halfway around the world. What a trip! Last week I met with leaders of churches in the middle of red-hot revivals, with thousands of young people serving God with unbounded enthusiasm and zeal. This week I will offer a response to an academic paper on revival and the next generation, presented by a Latin American pastor and scholar from Colombia at the Pentecostal World Conference in Seoul.
I have to confess, traveling to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8) has only increased my desire to see the Holy Spirit unleash a mighty wave of grace at home on our campus. One of these days I’ll undoubtedly want to send you a video of the far-flung testimonies I have enjoyed, but today, I want to share the story of a recent graduate student who now works in my own office. All I have to do to hear his story is walk out into the hall, but it is a world-class testimony!
Grads like Kameron Goetz represent the heart of what we have been doing at ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ for 88 years, raising up the next generation of Christian leaders with fire in their hearts, depth in their intellect, and integrity in their behavior. I could look around the world—and indeed I did—but I wouldn’t find a better story to share with you than this one.
Thanks for your faithful support of ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ and our mission!
