Charting the Future: Jorine Johnson
We are living in a time that many have called “the Great Resignation,“ but you can’t really resign from the call of God! One of the wonderful things about ÐÓ°ÉÔ°æ is the commitment to calling that our students and staff carry. Our vision urges all of us to carry the call of God, and many of our students take that call to the very ends of the earth. But some of them come from the ends of the earth to call Northwest home. No one illustrates that better than Jorine Johnson, director of Recruitment at NU.
Without a doubt, the warm, spiritual, learning community we build here offers its attractions, but that is not what leads people to stay; it is the sense of mission that comes from finding our True North. When Jesus has become the most important thing in your life, the only thing that matters is obedience to His direction. Born in India, Jorine has the talent to go anywhere in the world and do anything he wants to do. What he wants to do is obey Jesus, and we are thankful for the impact he’s having at Northwest as he does it. I hope you’ll enjoy his testimony.
